What is LINS?
|
| |
LINS is a resource centre for international education
and development at the Faculty of Education and International Studies, Oslo University College.
LINS was founded in 1997 as a result of Norwegian
authorities' increased aid support to education and development, and
after an initiative by Norad.
LINS won the first framework agreement in the field of education sector development cooperation announced by Norad in 1997. LINS also managed to renew its framework agreement after winning the bid for the second time in 2003. The foundation of LINS' successful bid was Oslo University College's long standing experience and competence developed over the years in the field of development studies and later international education and its cooperation with Norwegian private consulting companies in the development field.
